Tackling child dental problems in Earlham with Norwich City


Business in the Community (BITC) has teamed up with Norwich City on a campaign to tackle toothaches caused by poor dental hygiene among children in Earlham.

Tracy Drake, BITC’s Norwich regional director, said: “Food and hygiene poverty is increasing, leaving many families without access to nutritious food and basic hygiene products.

“This crisis is not only affecting nutrition, but also dental health. Children are experiencing toothaches and toothaches, leading to problems with schooling and difficulties in accessing dental services.

The Earlham Children's Dental Hygiene Collection is asking Manchester City fans to donate child-friendly toothbrushes and toothpaste.

Spectators attending Norwich's match against Swansea on Saturday will be able to donate at designated collection points.

Tracey added: “Join us in the fight against toothache and attendance issues among children in Earlham. Your support can make their smiles brighter and pave the way for a brighter future.

“We can achieve great things in dental hygiene if we work together.”

Norwich City supporters are also encouraged to donate to the Just Giving crowdfunding page.
